Maurizio Sarri: Chelsea reject Sarri’s wish to remain at the West-London club amidst interest from Juventus for the Italian coach.
In recent events, Maurizio Sarri has been able to win over the hearts of the Chelsea fans, as under his guidance the Blues thrashed the city rivals Arsenal by 4-1 in the final of Europa league final to win the match and secured the Blues season with a European silverware.
However, it is reported that Chelsea’s administration want to withdraw Sarri from the board, and willing to send him to Juventus as the Old lady club is interested in the Italian manager after the departure of Massimiliano Allegri.
Although, now it seems that the London based club is forcing the move, according to a report by the Times, Sarri met with Chelsea officials on Friday to discuss his future and had been willing to see out the remainder of his contract, provided they bought into his footballing vision and offered more public backing.
But Chelsea’s apex body are not willing to keep him at the dugout further. Additionally, the body also believes that it will be best for the interests of both parties, if the Italian manager is sent away from the club.
It is further reported that Sarri flew to Italy to hear the offer by Juventus and a deal between the two parties is about to be agreed according to the sources.
Furthermore, Juventus are still expected to pay the buy out fee of £5 million for Sarri. On the other hand, club legend Frank Lampard is expected to join the club from Derby ahead of the next season to replace Sarri at the Stamford Bridge.
How twitter reacted
I'm not even joking when I say I'm more pissed that we're losing Sarri than I am about losing Hazard. Sarri was the future, I believed in his plans. Now he's gone after just one season.
I hate this. Back to square one…

Chelsea are preparing to announce an amicable parting with Maurizio Sarri in the next few days.
Sarri was willing to stay if the club bought into his footballing vision and provided him with more public backing in the face of discontent from some fans.”

If Lampard does take over from Sarri, he needs to be given time, respect & support.
Although he is a Chelsea legend & a major source of inspiration for the club & fans, he is an inexperienced manager. We need to give him the chance to learn his trade & hone his style. #CFC pic.twitter.com/v6Bc48ytOA
