Kylian Mbappe is all set move to the Spanish capitol after Real Madrid having agreed to sign him for a record transfer of €150m with add ons worth €30m.
The 18-year old stole headlines last season. He was an instrumental part of the French Champions Monaco and lead them to the last 4 of the Champion’s League as well. He scored a total of 26 goals and bagged 6 assists and henceforth earned a national cap becoming the second youngest player ever to appear for France.
Spanish newspaper Marca came out with the confirmation of the deal although Moncaco told Sky Sports no such deal has taken place.
The Frenchman has attracted interst from all round Europe with his performances last season, with Madrid, PSG and Manchester City the fore runners for his signature.
Once a record-breaking transfer is pushed through, the France international striker will pen a six-year contract for a salary of about €7m a year with the reigning La Liga champions. He is set to return to his parent club on loan for a year.
The champion’s league winners could afford such money courtesy the sales of Alvaro Morata to Chelsea for €65m and Danilo to Manchester City for €26m, and the loan of Columbian captain James Rodrigues.

Monaco though will be keen to retain their striker if they want to defend their French title.
They have already lost a substantial part of their squad- 13 players have left including big money transfers of Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy who joined Manchester City and Tiemoe Bakayoko who joined English champions Chelsea. They have bagged €300m on transfers alone this summer.
“He is a very good”, Zidane told ESPN. “He is a talent, 18 years old and has personality.”
“Anything can happen between now and 31st August”, he added.
