Mesut Ozil: Arsenal star makes his final decision on his transfer rumours away from London as he insists to remain a Gunner.
Mesult Ozil gives his final decision after several transfer speculations. The German International said that he wants to remain at the club for next season.
According to a report by goal, Ozil has dictated that he is not leaving the North-London club anytime soon. Even though, the player was not regular in Unai Emery’s starting XI this season.
“If the coach speaks to me and tells me I won’t play in a game it’s something I need to accept and just get on with it,” said Mesut Ozil to Goal.
Despite the irregular game time this season, the player has asserted that he will keep trying hard for the team and himself.
“I’ve carried on working on making myself as fit and healthy as I could and it’s worked out for me. Now I’m playing, but of course it’s the coach’s decision if I play or not.”
“I’ve had some injuries this season and I’ve had to miss some games. But I know when I’m fit I’ll play matches.”
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old midfielder plans to play for the club until his contract expires. On the other hand, Emery is reportedly looking forward to offload the player with others in order to raise money for their targets this summer.
However, Ozil’s agent has disregarded the claims and asserts that the German midfielder will remain at the club for the upcoming season.
