Mesut Ozil Demands 68 Million Pounds Per Week From Arsenal Till 2023 To Exit The Club

Mesut Ozil shows anger after getting a substitution in a match against Manchester City in the 17th game-week of the Premier League.

Manchester City massively dominated the match against Arsenal in the 17th game-week of the Premier League. The Citizens had a convincing 3-0 win over the Gunners.

Thus frustration was obvious in Arsenal’s camp. In the first half, only the North London club conceded 3 goals while Arsenal could not even pose a decent threat, which remained the same for the rest of the match.

So, when in the 58th minute when Mesut Ozil was substituted by Freddie Ljungberg, the German midfielder clearly showed frustration while walking back to his team’s bench.

Just as Martin Tyler was saying “I hope he doesn’t react like Xhaka” – obviously a reference to the midfielder telling the fans to “f*** off” against Crystal Palace, Ozil trudged off slowly before throwing his gloves to the floor and kicking out.

Ozil certainly had a tough week after his comments on Uighur Muslims made Chinese authorities scrapping Arsenal’s tonight game on television and on the other hand, his club distanced itself from his statement.

The German midfielder hardly found minutes this season under Unai Emery but with Ljungberg replacing the former, Ozil started getting playtime, but it has not affected massively in Arsenal’s performances.

Meanwhile, Manchester City got a win after a tough game against Manchester United in the previous game-week, Kevin De Bruyne was involved in all the goals as he scored a brace and gave an assist to make his side win.

It looked the Gunners lost the will to play after conceding two goals by the 15th minute of the game. Arsenal fans were seen leaving the stadium by the 60th minute.
