Mohamed Salah goal vs Huddersfield: The Egyptian forward scored his 20th goal of the Premier League season.

Liverpool have almost secured the position at the top of the table – at least until Sunday, as Salah scored Liverpool’s 3rd goal of the night in the 45th minute against Huddersfield.

Naby Keita scored Liverpool’s first in merely 15 seconds after kick-off, while Sadio Mane doubled the lead minutes later.

Liverpool expectedly dominated the possession and Huddersfield couldn’t match their intensity throughout the first half.

As things stand, Jurgen Klopp’s side has taken a two-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the table.

Mohamed Salah goal vs Huddersfield:

The Egyptian forward coolly lobbed one over the Huddersfield goalkeeper to give Liverpool a three-goal cushion at the end of the halftime.

Salah took advantage of Lossl leaving his goal to clear the ball. However, Trent-Alexander Arnold’s pass was controlled brilliantly by the forward as he lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper’s head.

Huddersfield’s defenders couldn’t stop the ball from going into the goal.

Take a look:

The fight for the league title has grown intense over the past few weeks as both the teams have been relentlessly winning games in the league. Earlier this week, Manchester City registered an important 2-0 win over city rivals Manchester United.

Guardiola’s side, however, faces another tricky test as they take on Burnley in the away fixture on Sunday afternoon.

After this game, Liverpool will take on Newcastle United and Wolves. In the Champions League, Klopp’s men meet Barcelona in the semifinal next week.
