Indian cricket Mohammed Shami suffered a road accident earlier today, as the pace bowler was traveling from Dehradun to New Delhi, according to ANI.

According to reports, Shami was not seriously injured, but needed to get stitches to the top of his head. The bowler is currently recuperating in Delhradun, and will try to go to New Delhi as soon as possible.

Shami was traveling to New Delhi as he was trying to catch up with his IPL team, ahead of the new season starting in a couple of weeks. It has been a terrible few weeks for Shami, as he was publicly accused him of having a extra marital affair by his wife, Hasan Jahan.

Jahan went to the media and cast a shadow over his integrity by saying that Shami may have been part of match-fixing scandals as well. Shami was also not given a BCCI contract as the cricket board wanted these claims to be cleared up as soon as possible, before they gave him a contract.

Shami was eventually given a grade B contract by BCCI, as there was no sufficient evidence to incriminate him of his alleged crime.

This is what Jahan has told about Shami over the last couple of weeks,

“I’ve done everything he wanted me to do. He has tortured me & hasn’t treated me like his wife. He’s a big flirt. I’m not going to divorce him till my last breath. I’ve all the evidences & will soon drag him to the court.”

“I am facing domestic violence since last two years. He has also married a Pakistani girl and went to see her while returning from the South Africa tour.

“I asked Shami to take me to Dharamsala along with him but he refused. He even called me from there and abused me. He is having multiple affairs. Wherever the Indian team travels, a guy named Kuldeep supplies girls to him. BCCI is also not doing anything on this.”

These claims and now this accident has really turned Shami’s life over the last couple of weeks, as the fast bowler will now try to push everything aside and focus on his game when he returns to the field in the IPL with Delhi Daredevils.
