Money in the Bank 2019: Why Drew McIntyre should win the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match

Money in the Bank 2019: Why Drew McIntyre should win the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The Scottish Psychopath has been in the main roster for over a year now, could he become the next Mr. Money in the Bank?

It’s that time of the year again when WWE crowns it’s new Mr. Money in the Bank. A briefcase that has a contract for a World Title match at the time and place of its holder’s choosing. The participants of this years Money in the Bank ladders match are Finn Balor, Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Andrade, Braun Strowman, Ricochet and Mustafa Ali.

Off the 8 participants, 3 of them (Orton, Strowman and Corbin) have already won the contract before but only Randy has successfully cashed in his contract. In fact, the other two have won the last two contracts and have both failed to cash in. It is unlikely that WWE will have 3 failed cash-ins in a row. Which means that whoever wins the contract is in all probability the next world champion. That eliminates Ali, Andrade and Ricochet. As talented as they are, these three are yet to prove themselves to fans on the Main Roster. They may all become champs in the future but now is not their time.

Randy is at that stage of his career where he doesn’t need a title reign. Corbin and Strowman both have seen their stocks fall since their failed cash-ins. That leaves only Finn and Drew. The Briefcase however works a lot better with heels. It is such a classic heel prop and can instantly elevate its holder’s career.

That leaves us with Drew McIntyre

Drew has been in the roster for more than a year now. He has been involved in programs with big names such as Roman, Seth, Dean, Braun and many more. He has had many amazing performances and has proved that he is a reliable worker with star quality every week.

Drew is at that stage of his career where he’s ready to take the next step. Last year Braun was at a similar stage in his career but the WWE’s hesitance to pull the trigger on him has made him become a mere novelty act with much of his credibility lost. WWE cannot afford to repeat the same mistake with Drew.

The Scottish psychopath has the look that Vince desires, but he also has the talent. It also helps that the man is insanely charismatic and skilled on the mic. He has all the tools he needs to succeed; all he needs is a chance. The WWE have a chance to create another star on the level of Roman, all they need to do now is to let him win the Money in the Bank 2019.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
