Mourinho-Pogba relationship: The Manchester United manager has reportedly texted the club officials about his situation with the midfielder.
Jose Mourinho is having a rough time at Manchester United this season. The side is currently 8th in the league, after Bournemouth won their game against Huddersfield last night.
The club has had a fair share of controversies this season, which include the reported fall-out in the relationship between Mourinho and midfielder Paul Pogba.
Both the sides have spoken about each other, although not directly, in front of the media during pre-and-post match interviews. The situation became worse when the duo was caught arguing in a training session.
Recently, Duncan Castles reported that the manager lashed out at Pogba after a disappointing performance at Southampton. Mourinho, however, termed it as a rumour, but there are increasing reports of a fall-out between the two as respected journalist Miguel Delaney has now claimed that the manager has had enough with Pogba
Mourinho-Pogba relationship:
The Manchester United manager is reported to have sent a text message to the club officials, conveying that he tried everything with Paul Pogba. Independent’s Miguel Delaney has reported that the text message was sent in the wake of a frustrating draw against Southampton.

“Mourinho is also now said to be at a loss as to how to deal with the French international and get the better of him, and actually texted club officials to complain that he has tried everything to no avail, from the conciliatory to the hardline,” Miguel Delaney reported.
Mourinho’s negative comments, criticism of players, and bizarre team selection, suggest to me that he’s lost interest in his job. It gives the impression that he’s almost asking to be sacked. Most of all though, despite what he says, it feels like a lack of respect to the badge.

The report comes after Mourinho reportedly called Paul Pogba a ‘virus’ in the side after the draw against Southampton.
Jose Mourinho is understood to have called Paul Pogba “a virus” in the dressing room at full time and told the player: “You don’t play. You don’t respect players and supporters. And you kill the mentality of the good honest people around you.” #mufc [Duncan Castles]

Mourinho’s side will face the high-flying Arsenal in the league later tonight. The manager stated in the pre-match conference yesterday that the targets for December have been altered and that the side needs to win as many points as possible.
Before the game against Crystal Palace, Mourinho claimed that Manchester United would be ‘in a different position’ (the top 4) by the end of the year.
“Before [Crystal] Palace, I said my target would be end of December in top four. Now the target has changed. Now we have to try to be very close to these positions,” Mourinho said in the press conference.
