MS Dhoni will launch his global cricket academy in Dubai
With the ODI and T20 series over and done with, India will now look to play its test series against Sri Lanka in a few weeks time.
This also means that MS Dhoni will be free for almost a month as he longer plays the longest format of the game. After an entertaining limited over series against New Zealand, Dhoni will now look to recharge his batteries as he will prepare to play against Sri Lanka in a few weeks time.
In the mean while, Dhoni will be busy as he is set to launch his global cricket academy in Dubai. This is one of the first steps that Dhoni has taken to give something back to the game that has given him so much.

The inauguration will take place on November 11 for which Dhoni himself will be the chief guest. The former Indian skipper is expected to be involved with the kids, and could even come regularly to give tips to the next generation of cricketers.
Parvez Khan, who is the owner of this academy had only good things to say about Dhoni.
“The academy is in perfect shape and it will be a big thing for UAE Cricket to have an academy run by a legend like Dhoni. This is the first step. We will be trying to expanding the academy in parts of South Africa and the United Kingdom too,” Parvez Khan, the director of Pacific Ventures, told Sportstar.
Dhoni himself spoke on the academy and the importance of giving proper education to the next generation of cricketers.
“Sports has attained a global stature not just for fostering athleticism and sportsmanship, but also as a viable business platform that involves many different stakeholders, from small businesses to big conglomerates and organisations. I am delighted to be a part of the club and will contribute by any means possible to make it a success,” said MS Dhoni as per the quotes in Gulf News.
