Luka Doncic is the face of basketball and sports in general in the city of Dallas. Well, he and the Dallas Cowboys, America’s Team.

Football is without a shadow of a doubt the most popular sport in the USA. A sport that has enthralled all those who have witnessed it, including Luka.

El Matador has become a huge fan of the sport since joining the Mavs in 2018. Specifically, a fan of the Cowboys. After all, he was personally invited to a game by Jerry Jones.

Luka Doncic became a big fan of football and the Dallas Cowboys after being invited to a game

Back in 2018, the Dallas Mavericks got their hands on Luka Doncic. Thus, introducing him to the wonders of American culture. In particular, the sport of American Football.

Doncic was first introduced to the sport a few months after joining the Mavs when Cowboys owner Jerry Jones invited him to a game. It was a match between the New York Giants, and after watching a touchdown-winning run from Ezekiel Elliot, Luka was hooked.

“I really like the sport. I like the Cowboys. They have great players. They have a great team. I’ve liked them since the beginning since I learned about the sport.”

He was so impressed, that he immediately went home and began researching the sport. Now, he proudly wears the silver and blue of the Cowboys every time they have a game.

Given that he lives in the Dallas area, it comes as no surprise that Luka Doncic has become a Cowboys fan. But, he isn’t the only NBA superstar who supports America’s Team. One of Luka’s idols, LeBron James is also a fan of the team.

The Cowboys are looking to get back to the Super Bowl this season. Who knows? Maybe Luka and LeBron will meet up at a game sometime soon.
