Larry Bird: A failed father figure?

Bird grew up having had no renowned figure around him. He had to scratch and crawl his way through to the top to attain the worldwide success he has had.

This includes years of professional hardships as well as personal obstacles, which effectively wound up affecting him a great deal. To garner the attention that Bird has had, wasn’t a product of his actions overnight. It came to be, following years of arduous experiences.

Nonetheless, it would be a precise argument that the 12-time NBA ‘All-Star’ has failed at fatherhood.

Anytime someone’s child has been arrested, especially if they possess a famed and celebrated figure as their father, it is indeed reflective of the parent’s lack of attention to their child.

Not to mention his deteriorating relationship with his daughter, Corrie Bird, from the first marriage. The pair aren’t on speaking terms and have interacted just once about 25 years ago. Not the person one would have imagined Larry Bird to be.
