After Going ‘Bankrupt’ Dennis Rodman had to Sell his 1959 Cadillac Convertible for $70,655
When the going gets tough, one might be asked to give up the most. Dennis Rodman was asked just that. He went from making millions in the NBA to go bankrupt. Thanks in part to his egregious spending habits.
Rodman was without a doubt one of the most flamboyant characters of the NBA and it came at a cost. All his money went down the drain and we are left to wonder if would we have so many stories about him if he wasn’t so charismatic.
From parties that stunned even Shaquille O’Neal to book signings where he showed up in a wedding dress, Dennis was the star of the 1990s. And so much so that he had some of the craziest friends list one can find.
One of his friends even gave him a car, a classic car, one that was most likely his prized possession. He had to put it for sale though, and we reckon, Dennis was not happy about that one.
Dennis Rodman is close friends with Oakley owner
Yes, one of his friends, Jim Jannard was the co-founder of Oakley Inc. The same brand that makes the infamous wraparound sunglasses. They are a technology company and during the height of its popularity, they were valued at a whopping $820 million.
Jim was a close friend of Dennis because the forward often wore the sunglasses during his outings and it made them very popular. He also sported the glasses in Double Team.
Just two years later, he gifted Rodman a 1959 Cadillac Convertible. A gorgeous red colored car that has been kept in stellar condition. Until it was seen at an auction, on eBay?

Why he had to sell his beautiful 1959 Cadillac Convertible?
The car was listed on eBay for a price of $70,655. It is likely that it was put on sale because Mr. Rodman declared bankruptcy.
And he had to put such a beautiful car for sale. The car has been kept in pristine condition and there was no noticeable damage to it. It also doesn’t have any of the Worm’s customizations that he is known for.
Still, it is a shame to know that he had put the car on sale. It is by far the most beautiful car Rodman has ever owned.
