“Thank You for Saving My Legacy”: LeBron James Should Thank Ray Allen and Chris Bosh, YouTubers Reignite Fire Around Miami Heat’s Rings
LeBron James is one of the most successful players in today’s NBA. Four NBA Championships, Four MVPs, and a plethora of other awards are proof of that.
His most successful spell came during his time with the Miami Heat. Having failed to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to championship glory in his first run with them, The King looked for a move. So, in 2010 he moved to Dade County during free agency, partnering up with his buddy Dwyane Wade.
He spent four seasons there, winning two NBA Championships. Despite that, there have been many who have criticized his time in South Beach. Particularly due to the lack of dominance. Well, that same argument has resurfaced once again, with some YouTubers claiming LeBron should thank Chris Bosh and Ray Allen for preserving his legacy.
YouTubers claim Chris Bosh and Ray Allen saved LeBron James in Miami
LeBron James was a member of the Miami Heat organization from 2010 to 2014. During that time, he made four NBA Finals appearances. A great success to say the least. But, with the team, he had many expected him to lift the championship every year.
Unfortunately, The King was only successful twice, winning back-to-back rings in 2012 and 2013. Sadly, even those wins have been disputed. Over the years, many have claimed that LeBron only won them because of the huge amount of help he had. And now, those claims have been reignited.
The popular basketball YouTube channel has released a clip, where two of their YouTubers were discussing King James’ legacy. It is in this video, that a suggestion was made. LeBron should be thanking both Chris Bosh and Ray Allen for saving his legacy.
It’s quite the hot take, but one that isn’t unfounded. After all, many believe that the stellar rebounding of Chris Bosh and the sharpshooting capabilities of Ray Allen is what helped Miami win it all in 2013.
Ray Allen hit the shot that helped both Miami and LeBron win back-to-back championships
The 2013 NBA Finals was quite a rodeo. Not only did the win signify back-to-back championship victories for the Miami Heat, but, it also showed the world that LeBron James was a serial winner. However, all this may not have happened if it weren’t for Chris Bosh and Ray Allen. In fact, it was Allen’s clutch three-pointer in Game 6 that kept them in contention.
It certainly was a historic moment. One that changed the narrative surrounding King James and propelled him into the conversation of GOAT.
