After Prematurely Sending Jayson Tatum to Bahamas, Charles Barkley’s Game 6 Prediction Should Worry Celtics Fans
Winning Game 4 116-99, the Boston Celtics finally played like the dominant team we’ve seen them be all regular season long. While many analysts and basketball enthusiasts believed that Jimmy Butler and the Heat would clinch the series 4-0, Jayson Tatum and co. proved everyone wrong. Charles Barkley was one of the many personalities who was wrong with his predictions of the Cs. For Game 3, the man guaranteed Boston would take the victory – the Heat won. Game 4 he predicted a sweep – the Celtics stayed alive. And now, not having learned his lesson at all, the man made yet another prediction about which way this series will shake out.
The former Round Mound of Rebound is known for his terrible predictions. Even after his countless years of being affiliated with the NBA, Barkley just can’t ever seem to get it right.
And now, the Suns legend has gone on to boldly state that Game 5 is going to be a “cakewalk” for Tatum and co.
“Game 6 in Miami gonna be Game 7 for Miami”: Charles Barkley
According to Barkley, the momentum has now shifted in Boston’s favor. This is why the 60-year-old has selected the Celtics to emerge victorious in Game 5 at the TD Garden. Following the Celtics-Heat clash tonight, Charles said:
“I think Game 5 is gonna be a cakewalk for the Celtics. I think they gon’ have so much energy. Now they gonna go back home, that place gonna be loud and incredible. I think they gon’ kill Miami next game. They gonna come back down here, and imma tell us something else – Game 6 in Miami gonna be Game 7 for Miami.”

Charles reiterated his Game 6 philosophy in this same comment.
As stated earlier in this postseason, Barkley believes that a team who doesn’t win their Game 6 at home, will end up losing Game 7. Precisely why the 1992 Most Valuable Player stated that the Heat would play Game 6 as if they are the ones fighting elimination.
Can the Celtics miraculously win the series?
It was a pretty commanding Game 4 win for the Massachusetts-based franchise. At both ends of the floor, the Celtics were flawless.
However, considering the fact that no team has come back from a 3-0 deficit in NBA history, it is very unlikely that we see them win this series, even if they do go on to win Game 5. Nevertheless, they need to continue the great work if they want a shot at creating history.
The Miami Heat, on the other hand, will recalibrate and have a lot of film sessions before taking on the TD Garden on Thursday night.
