“Bronny James will develop into a quality player”: Basketball scout predicts that LeBron James’ son will make it as a high level player
Bronny James is in only his sophomore year of high school, but the expectations from the son of LeBron James are going to be high.
Listed as a top-30 basketball player in his class in his nation, Bronny has shown flashes of his potential already. LeBron is obviously doing his best to get his son trained for a high-level career.
It seems to be paying off, judging from Gilbert Arenas’ assessment. The former Wizards star took a session with Bronny, and he got back to LeBron with some rave reviews. Arenas believes that Bronny has many of the same attributes as LeBron himself.
There is plenty of time for Bronny to grow and become a physical specimen like his father. He is currently listed as a 6’2″ combo guard for the Sierra Canyon high school basketball program. It seems as if he’s in the middle of a growth spurt right now.
Basketball scout predicts that Bronny James will become a quality player
This week, Jerry Meyer of 247 Sports offered his take on Bronny’s basketball potential:
“It is tough to judge how a player at Bronny James’ age is ultimately going to end up, but that is the projection business that we are in.”
“I expect James to develop into a quality high major player. And with his lineage, there is a strong reason to believe that he will have a blossoming physically and in his game in the upcoming years.”

“What will be interesting to observe is how he deals with the intense pressure and scrutiny from being the son of LeBron James. How he deals with that circumstance will have much to do with how good he becomes. He will have to go through a tough process of defining and becoming who he is as his own individual.”
LeBron has a longstanding wish of playing in the NBA with Bronny. He wants them to become the first father-son duo in the NBA at the same time. If the latter is able to deliver on the promise he’s shown, we could see them play together.
