"Bruce Brown, how do you not pass back to Kyrie Irving or Kevin Durant?!": Stephen A Smith and NBA Twitter react to the final seconds of the Nets-Bucks Game

NBA Analyst Stephen A Smith questions Bruce Brown over his decision of taking the final shot instead of passing to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant

The Milwaukee Bucks are finally on the board. After losing two straight games in Brooklyn, the Bucks came home and got their first win of the series. They held the Nets off 86-83, riding on their All-Stars Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

After a game where the teams split the first two quarters, the second half was a close encounter through and through. Despite Kevin Durant coming alive in the second half, the Bucks held him off.

With the 10 seconds to go in the 4th quarter, the Bucks were up 84-83. The Nets inbounded the ball to Kyrie Irving, who got double-teamed quickly and passed to Bruce Brown.

NBA Analysts go off about Bruce Brown taking the final shot

There is no easy way to say this, but Bruce Brown messed up. Instead of passing to KD, or handing the ball back to Kyrie, he took matters into his own hands. The play didn’t go as he had expected, and NBA Twitter hasn’t been forgiving. Despite having a wonderful game, scoring 16 points, and grabbing 11 rebounds, it’s the final play that people won’t let him forget.

Stephen A Smith went off about the same.

The Nets would look to get this game behind them, and not let the Bucks gain some momentum. They face the Bucks again on Sunday for Game 4.
