"Giannis has 2 10-second violations and 3 3-pointers made this playoffs": NBA fans react to 2-time MVP's continued free throw shot clock violations in Bucks vs Nets Game 3

Giannis Antetokounmpo got called for his second 10-second violation on free throws in Game 3. NBA fans are demanding more penalties for him.

The Milwaukee Bucks staged an almost wire-to-wire victory in the lowest-scoring playoff game of 2021. Neither team was able to find anything of an offensive rhythm in what became a slugfest after the first quarter.

The Bucks raced out to an early lead in front of a raucous, capacity crowd at the Fiserv Forum. They took the Nets apart, going 30-11 in the first quarter. However, Brooklyn went into the break trailing Milwaukee by just 3 points, having cut it from 19 in the second quarter.

The game stayed a tight affair for the rest of the way. Both the Nets and the Bucks had done their defensive homework coming into this game. Giannis wasn’t allowed to have an outburst like the first quarter again.

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, meanwhile, carried the Nets offense all game long. But they weren’t able to do enough to counter Middleton and Holiday’s crucial late contributions on the night. And so we move to a Game 4 with the guarantee that there will also be a Game 5.

NBA fans react to Giannis getting another 10-second violation called in Game 3

The Greek Freak has already been called for a 10-second violation in this year’s playoffs. Having gone 1-of-5 from the line to start the game, Giannis wasn’t exactly in good shooting form there.

It was, thus, no surprise when he got called for a 10-second violation eventually. There had to be a point where the referees had to step in, and it was in the 2nd quarter tonight.

Predictably fans had something to say about it.
