Draymond Green is one main antagonist of the Golden State Warriors dynasty that started showing signs of being one since his draft into the NBA in 2012. However, he has never been a comparison to Michael Jordan at any point in his career.

Neither in school nor in college, and never in his 10+ years in the NBA, Green was not a scoring threat in his entire basketball history. But in his head, he might be.

The 2017 DPOY, who is one of the most impactful players that do much more in every game than it looks, thinks he is MJ. And when he said it the first time, it looked like he meant it.

Draymond Green tells Candace Parker that he is Michael Jordan, and gets mocked

Recently, while having one of the greatest WNBA players, Candace Parker, on the Draymond Green Show, the Warriors forward thought it would be a great idea to compare himself to the game’s arguable GOAT.

“You are a Michael Jordan fan? I am him at Dominos,” Green did not stop there and continued while Candace was shaking her head, “Michael Jeffery Jordan, Chicago Bulls number 23. Him at basketball, I am him at Dominos.”

It looked like she had it, then and right there because she couldn’t resist mocking the 4x NBA champ, “are you him in the 80s? Cuz you could be him in the 80s, and you are not gonna win.”

Draymond smirked and reaffirmed, “two 3-peats, I’m him.” But he could not hold on to the character for long, as he laughed just after saying the last bit.

It could have been a joke, but some fans in the comment section of that post saw the Michigan native like he committed a crime. And if one is being honest, it is a crime for even Dennis Rodman to think he is MJ, let alone Draymond Green.
