“Don’t let Giannis smoke a cigar!”: Thanasis Antetokounmpo hilariously doesn’t let the Bucks Finals MVP emulate LeBron James following Game 6 victory over Chris Paul and the Suns

Giannis gets on Instagram Live with Thanasis Antetokounmpo and hilariously asks to be given a cigar and Thanasis exclaims that he shouldn’t be given one.

Giannis accomplished what he set out to do in less than a year following his supermax extension with the Milwaukee Bucks. During his Finals MVP coronation ceremony, the Bucks superstar exclaimed that he wanted to build a championship culture in Milwaukee and that he wanted to do it with the team he considers now to be his brothers.

At merely 26 years of age, Giannis Antetokounmpo has one of the most complete resumes in NBA history. Everything from multiple MVPs to All-NBA selections to now, a title, the ‘Greek Freak’ did good on his promise of bring home a chip to the city of Milwaukee and achieved what Kobe Bryant challenged him to do.

With the all the sentimental emotions left on the floor, the Bucks locker room is undoubtedly a filled to the brim with chaos and celebrations. Amidst it all, Giannis took time to call his older brother, Thanasis, on Instagram live.

Giannis isn’t allowed to smoke cigars as Thanasis screams to others to not let him get one.

Perhaps one of the most iconic images from the 2019-20 seasons would have to be the sideview of LeBron James puffing away at a cigar after claiming his 4th championship in a win over the Miami Heat. It feels as though it stands to be a tradition for the FMVP to smoke a cigar but Thanasis hilariously didn’t want Giannis to smoke one following the grueling 6-game series.

Thanasis wasn’t able to be with his team during Games 5 or 6 due to health and safety protocols and so hopped onto an Instagram live with his younger brother. It was here where he yelled out to the surrounding team members to not let him get his hands on a cigar.

Other hilarious moments from the live consisted of Giannis crying out for Pop Smoke to be played in the background and him hugging everybody in the back while ‘T.A.’ awkwardly pumped his fist in the air. A hilarious but touching interaction between brothers that shows the Greek native’s true values in life.
