Despite being a superstar sportsperson, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a decidedly Laura Ingraham-like approach to LeBron James speaking on politics.

The Swedish football legend is only the 3rd player this century to have scored 500+ professional goals. In a career that is now into its 21st year, Zlatan has gained the respect of his peers and rivals alike.
Ibra is known as a goofy character on and off the court. But sometimes, his tongue can be like a whip, spitting his unbridled opinion on controversial matters galore. Mostly, Zlatan is just jocularly puffing himself and his achievements up in endearing fashion.
But when Zlatan Ibrahimovic speaks about other sportspersons, you can notice a clear difference in his approach. Ibra does not believe that sportspersons should engage in too much political discourse, for example.
The Swedish sensation is going to land in hot water for his recent comments on LeBron James and his activism.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic essentially asks LeBron James to ‘shut up and dribble’
In an interview that would be a lot more appropriate in 1921, Zlatan believes sports stars speaking on politics are wack. He chastized the likes of LeBron James of attempting to engage in politics.
He believes using your platform for political purposes without it being an ‘area of expertise’ is foolhardy:
“LeBron is phenomenal at what he’s doing, but I don’t like when people have some kind of status, they go and do politics at the same time what they’re doing. do what you’re good at.”
