Draymond Green Blatantly Throws Jordan Poole Out of List Of Players He Expects Something From in Game 5 vs Lakers

Draymond Green isn’t exactly the most beloved man on the planet right now, even once you consider fans of the Golden State Warriors. However, even by his standards, no matter how abrasive this man can be, leaving out Jordan Poole from his list of Warriors stars who will improve in Game 5 is beyond poor.

You see, Draymond Green is a very smart man, whether it be on or off the court. However, for the past couple of days, he has been making deeply uncharacteristic errors. For starters, you have his horrible turnover during a moment when the Warriors could have won the game with the right pass, something you can take a look at in the tweet by Complex Sports below.

Further, as he has become infamous for, he shot his podcast episode right after the end of the game. And it is during that shooting that perhaps Jordan Poole has something to be mad about once again with Draymond Green.

Draymond Green and Jordan Poole’s beef could get a refresher

Jordan Poole and Draymond Green famously had an incident during practice ahead of this past regular season. And as you may recall, it was by no means a pretty one. Here is a YouTube clip posted by Rising Highlights, in case you need to see the kerfuffle again.

Of course, this did go down a long time ago. And yes the two have played together since. However, there has also been noticeable tension between the two players for some time now. And finally, it seems to have reached it’s boiling point. Simply listen to Draymond Green’s words from the clip in the tweet put out by ‘Depressed Warriors fan’.

“Klay (Thompson) will play better, I have no doubt in my mind. Steph(en Curry) had an incredible game, expect more of the same, or even more from him. And everybody else will play great. Moses Moddy has been giving us great minutes, Donte (DiVincenzo) gave us great minutes last night, GP (Gary Payton) gave great minutes, Loon (Kevon Looney) is in there, he is giving great minutes, Wiggs (Andrew Wiggins) was aggressive, like listen, I’m living with it. We just didn’t make the plays we need to make down the stretch to win the game.”

Notice how Draymond Green virtually gave every name that has been in the Warriors’ rotation for this series, except one? No prizes for guessing which one that name is.

Of course, there is something brewing under the surface here. In fact, we wonder if Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors have made the mistake they made with Kevin Durant all over again.

Kevin Durant’s long beef with Kevin Durant was partially the Golden State Warriors’ fault

During Kevin Durant’s time with the Golden State Warriors, he and Draymond Green had an infamous, very public argument in the middle of an NBA game, something that was said to have caused Durant to leave the Warriors. However, apparently, there was a bit more to this situation. Watch Green and Durant explain the whole thing in the YouTube clip by Bleacher Report below.

Simply put, back then, the Warriors tried to sweep it all under the rug and hope it’d be okay, instead of bringing the two in the same room together and talking it all out. This caused there to be avoidable tension and eventually became the reason Durant left. Are they making the same mistake with Jordan Poole too?
