“F Being Friends": Kyrie Irving Posts Series of IG Stories Amid Attempt to Improve $136,490,000 Contract

Kyrie Irving is one of the most controversial players in the NBA. Known for his questionable social media activity, his Instagram stories, often under the scanner, have drawn flak from the public and the NBA community in the past. His most recent streak could also likely impact Kyrie’s chances of renegotiating his $136,490,000 contract, as teams may be hesitant to invest in a player with off-court distractions and an outspoken personality.

The Dallas Mavericks star has gone on quite a spree recently. Sharing Instagram story after Instagram story about a variety of theories and what could be perceived as controversial content. From calling out his friends to questioning the government to sharing rumors about a movie that was never made. Irving has had quite a field day on social media.

Kyrie Irving has shared a series of Instagram stories as he tries to improve his $136,490,000 contract

Social media has become an important part of sports. Teams, players, and coaches, all use social media in order to share their thoughts worldwide. And, one of the biggest sports social media influencers is Kyrie Irving.

Irving, known for his controversial beliefs and conspiracy theories is an avid user of several social media platforms. All of which he uses to send out his messages to his millions of fans. More often than not these messages are always lined with a pinch of controversy. Such was the case today when Uncle Drew shared a slew of stories on Instagram.

However, this is nothing new, given how active a user Kyrie is. But, while it is not surprising, the information he shared can possibly impact his chances of convincing Mark Cuban to improve his existing deal with Dallas. In addition to his usual posts of not needing anyone, Irving shared quite a bit, including and not limited to questions surrounding the government, his ancestry, and conspiracies surrounding Michael Jackson.

“I’m going to make it even if I have to run through a ton of walls. F being friends. I’m going to destroy these dudes.”

All this comes in the wake of Kyrie desperately trying to sort out his current contract situation. With his $136,490,000 contract with the Mavericks up, Irving will be hoping to get a much-improved deal. That being said, his recent social media dump could deter his efforts.

Skip Bayless Kyrie and his camp may be leaking information about a reunion with LeBron James to improve his value

The next few months will be crucial for Kyrie Irving. With his contract up, Uncle Drew is an unrestricted free agent and will be actively looking for his next big paycheck. In the midst of all this, there have been rumors about a potential reunion with LeBron James in Dallas. A move that would shock the world.

However, Skip Bayless believes that this is just a move by Kyrie and his team. He believes they are leaking information in order to increase his value in the market and secure a bigger deal.

In many ways, if Bayless is accurate in his suspicions, this is a cunning move by Kyrie and his team. But, with all the stories he’s been sharing, his plan could backfire. And, given how his negotiations failed miserably in Brooklyn, any little problem could destroy his chances of signing a bigger contract.
