Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks may have just played their last season together. As per Marca, the Memphis Grizzlies have decreed that Brooks will not be on the Grizzlies come next season under any circumstances. Frankly, that is beyond cold, even for someone who likes poking the bear as much as the former Grizzlies man. That said, could there have been more going on behind the scenes here? More specifically, do Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks have beef now? What is really going on here?

Fact Check: Are Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks really fighting at the moment?
As mentioned earlier, Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks have indeed been separated from each other. However, are they really fighting each other at the moment? Well, while it would be a rather exciting story if it really happened, so far, there have been no real reports of the two addressing each other with any kind of hostility.
Really, this was all just a rumor that was started by one of the many troll accounts within NBA Twitter, ‘Buttcrack Sports’. Here is the tweet by them that kickstarted it all.

As you’d expect, this isn’t what Ja Morant really put out on his Instagram story. Instead, he tweeted out something a lot more general. Take a look at the post below by Tonoy Sengupta to find out what it was.
@JaMorant just put this out, not what @ButtCrackSports posted 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/5U3BHcu7cX

Simply put, no Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks are not beefing. This was all just a hilarious troll started by one of Twitter’s many troll accounts.
Where is Dillon Brooks going?
Despite the many jokes about Dillon Brooks now heading off to China, there are just that, only jokes. While it is unlikely Brooks is given a massive contract during this upcoming offseason, he will likely be offered a contract by one of the other teams in the NBA that need his defense, such as the Charlotte Hornets, and the Houston Rockets.
