“First of all, I didn’t call anybody personally fat in San Antonio”: Charles Barkley defends himself after TNT shut down his legendary roasts of fat San Antonio women
‘Inside the NBA’ producers have officially shut down Charles Barkley from cracking jokes on San Antonio women and their fatness.
Charles Barkley is a fun loving guy and jokes are really famous in the NBA community. Chuck on TNT had continuously joked regarding women in San Antonio and he had done it too many times. There are legit compilation videos on him joking about a woman in San Antonio.
But the former NBA legend’s days of making fun of the women in San Antonio are over. The show’s producers have told him to stop as he got carried away at times.
However, Chuck in his defence feels that it is a joke that has continued for a long time and no one has had problems even in San Antonio. He also added how people in San Antonio have made up t-shirts surrounding the joke.
“First of all, I didn’t call anybody personally fat in San Antonio”: Charles Barkley
“If you crack a joke the wrong way, they’re like, ‘Oh no, no, no, no, you crossed the line,’” said Barkley. “They won’t even let me talk about San Antonio anymore. When I’m always talking about them big ole women down in San Antonio. They’re like, ‘Charles, we got one lady wrote an article.’
“I’m like, ‘First of all, I didn’t call anybody personally fat in San Antonio. I was just joking around, and when this one lady wrote this article, I’m like, ‘So y’all gonna let one lady.’ We been having fun with this for probably 10, 15 years, and when we go to San Antonio, the people are having a blast with it. The people in San Antonio, they had T-shirts made up.”
It is still unknown that what kind of repercussions Charles Barkley will face in case he again jokes about women in San Antonio at the studios of ‘Inside the NBA’ on TNT next season. Knowing someone like Chuck there are high chances of a slip of tongue and he may not even try to resist if such a moment occurs.
