Following in Mark Zuckerberg’s Footsteps, Giannis Antetokounmpo Trolls Elon Musk’s $44,000,000,000 Spend
It will be fair to say that the Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo is having a busy off-season. Forced to undergo a knee surgery, the Greek Freak is now uncertain for his nation at the FIBA World Cup. However, he is expected to return in time for the Bucks’ pre-season and will be raring to go for the new campaign. Apart from recently traveling to China on a promotional tour, the Milwaukee Bucks superstar has been active on social media. The 28-year-old recently joined Mark Zuckerberg’s new Threads platform and was quick to troll Elon Musk’s Twitter.
Giannis claimed that Threads was much better via two posts on the platform. Elon Musk, who recently bought Twitter at a valuation of $44 billion, was also recently mocked by the Facebook founder. Some fans even trolled to have an exhibition UFC fight against each other at the historic Colosseum in Rome.

While the fight is by no means a certainty, Elon Musk will be worried about the way Threads has grown since its release a few days ago.
Giannis Antetokounmpo trolls Elon Musk’s Twitter on Threads platform
Elon Musk has been guilty of shooting himself in the foot with Twitter’s recent downfall. He recently introduced a “post-limit” for both verified and unverified accounts, which was just another move in a series that has been criticized since Musk took over.
Mark Zuckerberg’s Threads platform has received immediate attention with millions of users signing up within days. This includes a range of celebrities, including, as it stands, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Greek Freak went a step further and trolled Elon Musk by claiming that Threads was a much better platform. Via two posts, Giannis suggested that he was having much more fun on the new social media platform.

Needless to say, apart from the restrictions and the fact that the “tick mark” on Twitter is now paid, Threads’ seamless experience has also played a part in the 2-time MVP’s review.
Giannis follows Shaquille O’Neal’s footsteps by joining Threads
Antetokounmpo is not the only high-profile NBA personality who has recently joined Threads. The power forward follows the footsteps of Shaquille O’Neal, who recently made an emphatic arrival to Threads himself.
Of course, the two are among a range of NBA superstars who are quickly creating their Threads profiles. Apart from Giannis, current stars such as Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Karl-Anthony Towns, and even Dwight Howard have all been active on Threads. There is plenty of reason for Elon Musk to be worried after such a quick rise in users on Threads.
