“LeBron and Bronny James Are Our Cosby’s”: Baron Davis Asks NBA Community to Stop Picking on the James and Champion Them

Bronny James’ life as a high-school senior has just kick-started in great fashion. In just his second game, he has shown flashes of excellence that have perhaps been passed down through genetics. He put up 25, including an emphatic dunk and daddy LeBron James is already declaring his son to be “HIM”.

Yes, Bronny James is that guy? Or are we just going to rely on the word of his father, who would most definitely think of his son in high regard?

Well, we don’t have to. The evidence will be presented in the form of his high-school games. And as Bronny is entering his final year, we will be keeping him under our view, on a microscopic level.

LeBron James affirms Bronny is “HIM” after a 25-point performance

For the uninitiated, “He is HIM” is a phrase NBA players, analysts, and others use to describe a guy whose performance transcends sport. The guy who you can throw the ball to in the dying seconds. As LeBron himself said once, “I’m him”.

The title is simple but the weight of expectations it puts on one’s shoulder is heavy. Bronny is “him” as per his dad.

Recent performances suggest he might just be THAT guy. And tonight he was on form.

He had just made his debut a few days ago. A rather quiet one but today, he put everyone on notice.

LeBron still has the bragging rights at home after a 31-8-7 display

While his son Bronny was out dominating high schoolers, LeBron was dominating NBA players in year 20. Yes, we often forget that he is a 20-year veteran.

And the Lakers put up quite the show tonight. They are gelling well and firing on all cylinders.

The James household will be in great spirits. Both father and son are performing beyond expectations. And for once, they might just be closer to playing with one another.
