“I Give LeBron James a C+ Because He Was in Danger of Blowing the Game”: Skip Bayless Harshly Grades the King’s Performance in Lakers’ 119-117 Win

After suffering a tough overtime loss against the Boston Celtics on 13th December, the Los Angeles Lakers have concluded their 3-game homestand with back-to-back wins. First, the Purple & Gold defeated Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets, and yesterday, they grabbed a 119-117 win against the Washington Wizards.

The contributions of LeBron James played a huge role in the LA-based franchise’s past two wins. On Friday, Bron managed to drop 30 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Somehow, the King outperformed himself on the very next outing, recording a sensational 33 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds with 0 turnovers.

LBJ’s performance has propelled Darvin Ham’s boys to wins. However, on the sets of “UNDISPUTED”, Skip Bayless wasn’t very generous with the grade he gave the Lakers star.

Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe grade LeBron James’ performances

On the recent-most episode of “UNDISPUTED”, Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless spoke about James’ performances from over the weekend in one of their segments.

First, Sharpe disclosed his grade. Giving out an “A++”, the former NFL star gave an explanation for the same:

“Without AD, LeBron did a number on Jokic…gave him that work. Against the Wizards: GOAT took it over, brought it home.”

While an “A++” might be too generous, Bayless’ grade was rather strict.

Giving out merely a “C+”, the 71-year-old analyst explained:

“I give him a C+ because LeBron was in danger of blowing the game with a turnover but to his credit, he stayed after it and picked it up off the floor.”

Father time can’t stop LeBron James

At age 37, not everyone can play the way the 4-time MVP has been. Despite facing some injury problems, the future HOFer has managed to defeat the infamous father time and has been playing some outstanding basketball.

In 21 games, LBJ has been putting up some shocking numbers – 27 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game.

How good is this 27 PPG in comparison to other “Year 20” legends? Have a look at this crazy stat for yourself.
