“I used to play with Steph Curry on 2k and drop 60”: James Wiseman gives his props to Warriors legend for career high 62 points vs Blazers

James Wiseman remains baffled by Steph Curry’s 62 point performance against Damian Lillard and Blazers; calls him a legend.

The Portland TrailBlazers and the Golden State Warriors traded wins in their 2 game miniseries as the Blazers won their first bout and the Warriors won the second. The first game between the 2 was a standard blowout by Damian Lillard and the Blazers.

The second however, was essentially Steph Curry taking the Blazers entire roster on, on his own. He dropped a career high 62 points, eclipsing Damian Lillard’s career high of 61 points.

He was very efficient from the field as he shot 18-31 from the field, while draining eight 3s on 50% shooting from beyond the arc.

James Wiseman compares Steph Curry’s performance to 2K

2K is entertaining to indulge in because you can do things in the game that could, for the most part, not be replicated in real life. This is where Steph comes in makes the implausible, very much possible.

Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman was astonished by watching Curry ball out last night. When asked about his thought concerning the performance, Wiseman said, “It’s crazy. It reminded me of 2K because I used to drop 60 with Curry every time. I used to drop 72 or even 82 in the game.”

He continued sing the NBA vet’s praise by saying, “Watching it personally, it was phenomenal. He’s a legend so watching it in person was great.”

James Wiseman is the perfect roll man for Steph Curry to feed the ball to. The one problem with Steph and Wiseman PnR’s is that there needs to be a knockdown shooter on the perimeter as Wiseman rolls to the rim. This is an area the Warriors need to strengthen.

For Wiseman personally, he rolls to the rim hard and is an above the rim threat at any point in the game due to his athleticism.

He’s currently averaging a solid 11.7 points and 6.5 assists in six games. He dropped a 12 and 12 last night against the Blazers while recording 2 blocked shots as well.
