The Atlanta Hawks have upgraded Clint Capela on their injury list from doubtful to questionable against the under-strength Clippers.

Clint Capela has been having a wonderful year with the Atlanta Hawks. In the last match he played, Capela recorded his first-ever triple-double. Clint Capela was a monster against the Minnesota Timberwolves, recording 13 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 blocks.

This season, Clint Capela has averaged 14.2 points and 14.5 rebounds, while shooting over 56% from the field. The Atlanta Hawks currently hold the 6th spot in the East, with an 8-8 record. They started the season strong, but have lost 6 of their last 10 games.

The status of Clint Capela for tonight’s matchup against the Clippers

The Swiss big man missed the Hawks’ last matchup, against the Bucks due to soreness in his right hand. As the Hawks get ready to take on the Clippers tonight, Capela is still listed as questionable in the latest injury report shared.

According to the reports, Hawks’ young star Trae Young is listed as questionable as well due to back issues. Danilo Gallinari is listed as questionable due to his ankle, while Cam Reddish(Achilles) is probable.

The Atlanta Hawks have a tough match on their hands. The Clippers have been playing really well, and have won 8 out of their last 10 matches to rise to the second spot in the West. The Clippers currently boast a 13-4 record and are one game behind the Lakers for the top spot.

But they will be shorthanded tonight. Both their key stars Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are ruled out of tonight’s matchup due to Covid protocols. All-Defensive Team member Patrick Beverley is also out for the game.
