Is LeBron James Playing Tonight vs Grizzlies? Lakers Release Injury Update for the King

Many expected that the Los Angeles Lakers would turn their fortunes around after going on a 5-game win streak to begin the new calendar year. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case for LeBron James and co.

Since 9th January, Darvin Ham’s boys have suffered losses against the Nuggets, the Mavericks, the Sixers, and the Domantas Sabonis-less Kings. Having gone 4-1 in the past few games, the California-based franchise is in desperate need of a win.

With LAL playing against the Grizzlies as their final clash of the 5-game homestand, let’s have a look at whether the King will be suiting up tonight or not.

LeBron James listed as Questionable against the Grizzlies

LeBron, who despite being listed as questionable, went on to score 32 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists against the Kings.

In the team’s injury report ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies matchup, Bron has again been listed as Questionable with left ankle soreness.

Apart from Bron, Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, and Lonnie Walker IV are also listed on the team’s injury report as OUT.

Yes, questionable doesn’t sound as promising. However, in all probabilities, we might see the 4-time MVP suit up.

However, playing against Ja Morant and co., who are on an 11-game win streak, it is going to be extremely difficult for Bron to grab a win.

Seeing the shorthanded Lakers take on the in-form Grizzlies will not be a sweet sight for any LAL supporter.
