Is LeBron James playing tonight vs Hawks? Lakers release ankle injury report for showdown vs Trae Young and co
Frank Vogel releases statement regarding LeBron James’ ankle injury and his availability for the game vs Hawks.
After a big win against rivals Boston Celtics, the Los Angeles Lakers are ready to play Trae Young and his Atlanta Hawks. LeBron James has been leading the defending champions to a red hot start this season and looks to be in great form.
LeBron James has openly spoken about how he just doesn’t get tired. But he is still prone to injuries and hence the Lakers management will need to ensure that they take good care of ‘The King’, keeping in mind that he needs ton stay fresh for the business end of the season.
James has been on Lakers’ injury list for a sore ankle multiple times this season. His left ankle has been nagging him a little bit for quite some time. Despite the discomfort, LeBron has yet to miss a game this season.
LeBron has been listed with a left ankle sprain on the last 18 Lakers injury reports. In the two games prior to that streak, he was listed with a sore left ankle. The only game he has not appeared on the injury report the team’s first one. https://t.co/aG6zMwWo2P

Frank Vogel, the head coach of Los Angeles Lakers, spoke about LeBron’s sore ankle:
“We talked about that. If it’s necessary we’ll do that. He hasn’t felt like it’s necessary. (He) still has some soreness in it from time to time. He’s playing on it every day, but it’s nothing of major concern.”
Is LeBron James playing tonight vs Atlanta Hawks?
According to Lakers’ injury report, LeBron James is questionable to suit up against the Hawks, however, if the previous games are anything to go by, LeBron will surely take the court.
However, with Vogel expressing some concern, it wouldn’t be surprising if the 4 time NBA Champion is on a minutes restriction.
Playing his 18th season, LeBron has been sensational playing 33.3 minutes per game this season. He has been pretty efficient averaging 25.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game. He’s doing all this while leading the in-form Lakers team to a 15-6 record.
The Hawks are coming off of a close overtime loss against the stat-studded Brooklyn Nets. They now have a 10-9 record, with Trae Young leading the team while averaging 27 points, 8.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds. It will be an exciting battle to watch the young Atlanta team go up against ‘The GOAT’ and his Lakers.
