‘James Harden is just helping local businesses’: Rockets star spotted violating covid-19 protocols by partying in public once again ahead of NBA season opener
James Harden was spotted at a strip club’s Christmas party in Houston. This could lead to consequences for the Rockets star.
The NBA’s Covid protocol dictates that a player cannot be spotted in public for any sort of event. The league released an extensive, exhaustive list of locations for players to avoid. This will help them minimize chances of them getting covid, or of unwittingly spreading it in the team.
Harden, however, seems to have little regard for such rules. Not long ago in the recent past, he missed a huge chunk of the Rockets’ preseason camp partying with Lil Baby across state lines.

Due to his gallivanting, James had to miss their preseason games against the Bulls. Even later on, Harden hardly seemed to grasp the seriousness of the situation. He reportedly threw a ball at rookie Jae’Sean Tate after a disagreement during a practice session.

At the moment the Rockets and NBA have no comment on if Harden’s appearance at the Christmas Stripper party will affect his availability to play tomorrow because of RONA protocols. It is being “looked into” https://t.co/dazep8QFo8 pic.twitter.com/9mKYqE2ZYe

The Rockets front office was reached out to by members of the mainstream media, but they were unavailable for comment on this. Adam Silver will, however, put his foot down and put an end to all of these shenanigans sooner or later. This might be the final straw that breaks the Rockets’ backs in terms of trading their franchise star.
