Eventually, its reputation preceded it. And even celebrities like Joan Collins and Michael Jordan chose the venue for their nuptials in the 1980s.

Actress Joan Collins married her fourth husband, Swedish singer Peter Holm, there in 1985. Thanks to Collins’ celebrity the news broke headlines. Bruce Willis and Demi Moore also got hitched in the same venue in 1987.
