Golden State Warriors filled Twitter timelines with various posts about a potential Kawhi Leonard signing with the Warriors in the offseason

The Golden State Warriors had a season that exceeded a lot of expectations. When the season started, they were expected to finish as the #13-14 seed. However, they exceeded all expectations set at the start. They finished #8 in the West, major props to the season Stephen Curry had. The 33-year-old had a season for the ages. Over the last month and a half, he was averaging just under 38 ppg, all while shooting over 45% from the deep. The Warriors had their post-season dreams shattered when Ja Morant and the Grizzlies beat them in the play-in game.
All the way over in LA, the Clippers don’t look so good. Despite having a home-court advantage, they lost the first two games of their first-round matchup. Luka Doncic and the Mavericks are giving Kawhi Leonard and co. a little too much on their plate.
Kawhi Leonard is being recruited by the Warriors fans
With Klay Thompson due to make his return in the upcoming season, the Dubs fans have a lot to look forward to. However, they still feel as if they need a strong frontcourt, to solidify their chances at another title. Who better to recruit, than the Klaw himself!
Kawhi Leonard has an option to opt-out of his contract with the Clippers once this season ends. The entire league knows this, and there would be a lot of offers coming up. Warriors fans have been beating everyone to them, and they’re at it again.

So Kawhi Leonard is going to the Warriors right? He’d be a great 3rd/4th option and no pressure to lead a team. He’d be familiar with the Warriors motion offense. And the Bay isn’t that far from LA. #NBA pic.twitter.com/5UM9eceZZ2

While the Warriors are at home watching the games, Bob Myers and his think tank would be scooping ways to lure players to the Bay. Whether the Warriors would be able to recruit Kawhi or not is still a mystery, but it’s fun to watch the process.
