Nets star Kevin Durant seemed to be in trouble as both his All-NBA teammates suffer injuries and were out in Game 4 against the Bucks.

The unbeatable Brooklyn Nets suddenly appear to be mortal. After James Harden left within the first minutes of Game 1, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant had been handling the series. However, things changed earlier today, when Kyrie exit the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury.

Ever since Kyrie left the game, the Nets just seemed disoriented. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks stomped their way to a win due to the same. Giannis finished the game with 34 points and 12 rebounds.

Kevin Durant tried to lead the team to a win, but he was nowhere to be found in the 4th quarter. Despite finishing the game with 28 points and 13 rebounds, his scoring 0 in the final frame haunted the Nets.

“Kevin Durant would feel what LeBron James felt”: NBA Analyst

When the season started, the Los Angeles Lakers were favorites to repeat and win a consecutive title. However, things changed when the Nets acquired James Harden.

It did not help that Anthony Davis and LeBron James suffered significant injuries just before the playoffs. The Lakers lost to the Suns in the first round, and part of the reason was the absence of Anthony Davis due to injury.

According to analyst Emmanuel Acho, Kevin Durant now has to go through the same thing that LeBron James did.

While the severity of Kyrie’s injury is not known still, there is no set timeline on James Harden‘s return as well. It looks like Kevin Durant will be playing without any of his star teammates in Game 5 against the Bucks.

The series moves back to Brooklyn after the Bucks tied it at 2-apiece. The Bucks take on the Nets for Game 5 on Tuesday.
