"Kevin Durant texted obscenities to Michael Rapaport": Nets superstar and Knicks superfan got into it on their Instagram DMs today

Michael Rapaport is known as a brash presence, both on and off the screen. KD seems to have given him a piece of his mind of late.

As a Knicks fan, Rapaport is seeing some of the better days in the 21st century. The team is well-positioned at 4th in the Eastern Conference and looks set to finish above a .500 record this year.

At the same time, Rapaport can’t possibly have taken the newly-emerged rivalry between the Lakers and the Nets well. These are probably the two teams he hates the most as an ardent Knicks fan, and both are primed to make the Finals this year.

This might have been the motivation for him to get into a foul-mouthed exchange with Kevin Durant. They are supposed to be good friends, but I’m not sure good friends talk to each other with this much vitriol at any point.

Kevin Durant and Michael Rapaport feud on Instagram, KD says it’s a ‘regular thing’

The actor posted a couple of screenshots of KD going absolutely berserk on his Instagram DMs. Rapaport obviously picked and chose what to post. We can’t lie – KD comes off looking like a real piece of work in these texts that apparently date back to December.

We don’t support the language used in this conversation, so it’s best if we leave the description to the interwebs. As soon as Rapaport posted this online, Kevin Durant came out and ridiculed him for ‘being a b****’ and going public.

Michael Rapaport seems hell-bent on using some sort of legal remedy in this situation, and honestly, we can’t blame him. This sort of language is extremely uncommon between good friends and almost certainly causes the friendship to end.
