"Kevin Durant Took Ballet Classes?": NBA Twitter Raises Serious Questions After Witnessing Suns' Star's Hilarious Routine

Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns may be in a tied series with the LA Clippers at the moment, but game 3 should pose as an easy victory… or so it’d be easy to think. However, so far, this game couldn’t be any more of a slugfest, with the score standing 54 – 51 at the half, the Suns with the lead.

Russell Westbrook and Norman Powell have done very well so far, with the former functioning as the facilitator, and the other almost playing as the high-volume scorer. Though other Clippers have poured it on from their end too.

On the other hand, Kevin Durant has not done so badly himself, having scored 14 points in the first half, on 5 of 8 from the field, and 1 of 2 from deep. And a large reason for that is his admittedly very off-putting pre-game warmups, something that we just had to get into. Let’s dive right in, shall we?

Kevin Durant has the grace of a dancer ahead of his game against the Clippers

Kevin Durant has always been an elegant shot-maker. In fact, the way he seems to float in the air while making a jump shot can almost make him seem like a death eater at times. No wonder there are so many players afraid if this man. That scene from the Harry Porter movie was freaky enough as is.

That said, how does he achieve such balance? Well apparently, it’s through a routine similar to what dancers go through. Take a look at the clip in the tweet below.

Frankly, the more you think about it, the more this makes sense. At the end of the day, the most important thing for dancers is grace and balance, exactly the thing KD seems to be practicing at the moment. In fact, this is a regiment the man has apparently been doing for a long time. Still, that doesn’t stop it from being absolutely hilarious. And we couldn’t be more here for it.

How did fans react?

You could use all the logic in the world. But, what the NBA community finds funny, nobody can do anything about. And well, as it turns out, this is no different. These are just some of the reactions.

To be fair, it is hilarious to see a 7-foot man twirling around before shooting his shots, especially on such a massive stage. And we doubt that will ever change.
