Kevin Durant likes a tweet that says Giannis winning a ring in 2021 isn’t better than KD winning two titles of his own with the Warriors.
Much has been said about the legitimacy of the title that Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks claimed last night in their Game 6 win over Chris Paul and the Suns. Many fans claim that due to the nature of how their series against Kevin Durant and company played out, in terms of injuries to Kyrie Irving and James Harden, this 2021 title has an asterisk next to it.

However, these same fans seem to be conflicted as when they take to social media to argue about the value of each ring, they seem to downplay Kevin Durant winning two in Golden State. The reason, of course, would be the fact that he joined as all-time great team which was already loaded with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green at the helm.
It seems as though Kevin Durant has had enough of fans making light of his two consecutive Finals MVPs as a Warrior.
Kevin Durant believes his two rings do not matter less than this Giannis ring as he likes a tweet related to this.
Kevin Durant is known to have what’s called ‘Twitter fingers’ as he’s admitted that he interacts with fans on the social media platform because he has time on his hands and nothing else. He’s also not shy in liking whichever tweets entice him as he’s done so again. The tweet in particular is one that relates to Giannis’s ring being worth more than his two.
Man all these dumb takes about @KDTrey5 two rings being worse than one of Giannis needs to stop. A ring is a ring, takes great detail and work to focus all those games and win. Stop tryna downplay other great players to hype up another player. Smh

There are two sides to this argument: one faction believes that a title is a title and that winning one, no matter what teammates surround you is difficult due to the uncertainty of injures and chemistry between teammates. The other side is of the belief that, depending on what path was taken to claim a championship, their value increases or decreases.
Kevin Durant taking the ‘easy’ way out to win two chips with 3 other Hall-of-Famers beside him most certainly isn’t an accomplishment that should be held to the same level as what the Pistons did in 2004 or what the Mavericks did in 2011. However, it could be argued that the Dubs needed KD more than he needed them just by looking at the stats from their two Finals together.
