Lakers' LeBron James sends good wishes for speedy recovery from injury to Warriors star Klay Thompson

Warriors’ guard Klay Thompson suffered a leg injury earlier today, during a preseason practice and workout.

The Golden State Warriors and the entire Warriors community are praying right now. Klay Thompson suffered a leg injury earlier today while working out in Southern California.

Klay, who is coming off an ACL injury that sidelined him for the entirety of the 2019-20 season, was looking to partake in the upcoming season. The news of this injury was revealed by the Warriors PR team, but there have been no further updates.

LeBron James and NBA stars send prayers for Klay Thompson

Even though the Warriors and the Lakers are competitors, one must not forget that the NBA is a family first. As soon as the news of Klay Thompson’s injury came out, LeBron James was one of the first to wish him well.

Along with LeBron James, a lot of other NBA stars also sent their prayers and wishes to Klay. Donovan Mitchell was one of them.

Hawks’ upcoming star Trae Young also wished Klay a speedy recovery.

Paul George, CJ McCollum, DeMarcus Cousins, Buddy Hield, and Jamal Crawford were among the other names who sent their prayers for Klay. Fellow Warriors star Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Eric Paschall sent their prayers up as well.

Warriors GM Bob Myers gives an update

Klay Thompson called GM Bob Myers earlier this afternoon and talked to him about his injury. Bob Myers gave this account of his conversation with Klay:

Hopefully, this injury to Klay isn’t something very serious. The Warriors were set to make a comeback to the big stage, with the Splash brothers coming together after a whole year.
