“LeBron James Closed A Game For the 1st Time in 2 years”: Skip Bayless Downplays Lakers Star’s 48-point Night Against “Lowly” Rockets
Another day, another story of Skip Bayless riding that LeBron James hate train. We are not tired, you are not tired, and that 71-year-old veteran is the least tired of it, so what the heck!
The 38-year-old had a 35p/8a/10r night in the heart-breaking loss against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday. And the very next day, he comes up with 48 points against the Houston Rockets.
James is now the only player in NBA history with five 45-point games at age 35 or more. The man is literally wreaking records every time he touches a basketball these days.
Yet, the Fox Sports 1’s star man cannot speak anything that’s marginally good about the Lakers’ superstar, who is probably the biggest reason for his $17 million net worth.

Skip Bayless finds a way to downplay LeBron James’ 48-point night
On Tuesday’s edition of Undisputed, Shannon Sharpe was yet again all hyped about his favorite player’s back-to-back astonishing night after LeBron James and Co’s 140-132 win over the Houston Rockets.
And we know quite well that it’s not a pleasant sight to the sore eyes of Skip Bayless. He blatantly said that it might be the first time in 2 years that LeBron James finally closed a game.
.@RealSkipBayless on LeBron’s 48-point performance in win over Rockets:
“There’s a big asterisk on this game because it’s against the lowly Rockets. But I’ll give him this: LeBron finally closed a game, the first time in about 2 years.” pic.twitter.com/GMCkM7L9Bm

Get over LeBron dear Bayless, it’s way beyond time.
James might be a once-in-a-generation athlete, but little does it matter to Skip
There is no athlete on this planet who has been as consistent in their craft for this long apart from him, Tom Brady, and Roger Federer. Add Tiger Woods to that list too. That’s just about it.
And then, this man who has just been sitting inside studios just changing his seats once in a few years, comes every night to say something absurd about James. Whether he wins or loses, doesn’t matter. Bayless always finds his way to obliterate the 18x All-Star.
