The Los Angeles Lakers faced off against the Detroit Pistons last night, on the tail end of a back-to-back. What might’ve seemed like a cakewalk for the Lakers, turned to a blowout loss to one of the worst teams in the league.
The Lakers couldn’t buy a bucket for a majority of the fourth quarter as the Pistons pulled away in the final 4 minutes to win, 107-92. This marks the first time the Lakers have lost to a team below .500 this season.
LeBron James played exceptionally bad in the fourth quarter as he tallied 0 points in the last 12 minutes of the game.
Skip Bayless wasted no time as he took to Twitter to berate LeBron and the Lakers for their lackluster performance.
Skip Bayless doesn’t hold back when talking about LeBron James and his subpar outing
Known as one of the most prolific LeBron James haters the world of sports talk shows offers, Skip Bayless never misses an opportunity to bash the 4x NBA champion.
Last night was no different as he belittled the Lakers for losing to a team with a 4-14 record. He brought up LeBron James’s stats from the second half and the fact that the Lakers let Blake Griffin and his squad go on a 19-2 run against them.
LeBron made his 1st 7 shots … then went 1 for his last 12, scored 0 in the 4th quarter as the Lakers gave up a 19-2 run in the 4th. Yes, Lakers were playing back-to-back on the road, but these were the 4-14 Pistons who lost by 15 last night at Cleveland. MVP!? MVP!? MVP!?

LeBron James has been playing at an MVP level this season and is even the betting favorite. He dropped a season high 46 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers on 19 made field goals, a couple of nights back.
There are several players in the league that are deserving of MVP honors, such as Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, and Nikola Jokic. However, one sub-par outing doesn’t really take someone out of MVP consideration.
