Lebron James seemed to have conquered the ‘Versaclimber’ and immediately when onto the court for sprints while Kyle Korver almost threw up.
Cardio is a big aspect of being a great athlete in almost any sport and basketball is no different. Running back and forth between offense and defense across 94 feet of NBA hardwood is no easy task and according to Kyle Krover, LeBron James might just be the perfect athlete for performing this feat, night in and night out for 48 straight minutes.

LeBron James has always preached about keeping himself in good physical shape. He usually takes to his Instagram stories to show off his solo workouts or ones with his wife in the form of a time lapse, and in these workouts, fans get a glimpse of just how hard James trains his body.
According to his trainer, the Cavaliers legend drops a solid $1.5 million on his body annually, to help him recover to the best of his body’s abilities. A story from Kyle Korver confirms that James, physically, is just on a whole other level when compared to the rest of the league.
Kyle Korver almost threw up while training with LeBron James.
Kyle Korver had a brief stint on the LeBron James led Cleveland Cavaliers and it was during this time that he saw James train like no other athlete he had ever seen. Keep in mind, Korver was drafted in 2003 and so he has been around more than just a handful of NBA players and superstars.
The story through Korver’s eyes starts with him considering himself to be second to none when it came to the ‘Vresaclimber’, a cardio machine. “We’d (Cavs) would do these team cardio challenges, like relay challenges. That’s kind of my thing. Like, I can go. I can’t go that fast all the time, but I can go for a really long time,” said Korver.
“So, we do this challenge and I have never thrown up before from doing cardio. I feel like I might throw up. There’s those benches on the side of the court and I’m kneels over, ‘Bring me a stretcher’. LeBron James walked off the ‘Versaclimber’, onto the court, gets the ball, looks at the far basket, full sprint goes at it. He jumps from outside the charge circle and windmill dunks it.”
