LeBron James is one of the greatest players to play the sport of basketball. The 6ft 9″ Lakers star is playing his 20th season in the league and still is one of the best current players. This just goes on to show how great he truly is, and his incredible longevity.

Over the years, Bron has played for three different franchises. Drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003, LeBron played there till 2010. From 2010 to 2014, LBJ was with the Miami Heat, where he won two championships. In 2014, he returned to Cleveland and took the Cavaliers to four straight Finals, winning one NBA Championship. Since 2018, LBJ has been with the Los Angeles Lakers, winning one championship for Tinseltown.
Over the years, LBJ has had a lot of teammates, but arguably no one was as good as Dwyane Wade. The duo paired up several times, and donned several different colors during the same.
Rachel Nichols called out LeBron James for Dwyane Wade’s living arrangement in Cleveland
In 2017, Dwyane Wade agreed upon a buyout with the Chicago Bulls, and made his way to Cleveland. Having won 2x Championships already with LeBron James, Wade and Bron hoped the duo could partner up and win even more.
A few days into their time together in Cleveland, Rachel Nichols and ESPN made their way there to interview the duo. Talking to the two of them, Rachel asked LeBron how he was helping Wade get acclimated to living in Cleveland. Bron replied and said, “Finally got him a place. He was getting weirded out by living in a hotel.”
This intrigued Nichols, who then exclaimed, “I can’t believe he didn’t stay with you, by the way. You have no hospitality?!”
Bron then tried to defend himself and explained how he asked Wade to stay at his place for as long as he liked. DWade jumped in and explained how he did stay for a few days, but he didn’t want to feel like he was moving in with the 4x MVP in his $9 Million mansion.
I guess this one’s not on LeBron now, is it?
How did LeBron and Wade’s 2nd run in the NBA fare?
Unlike their first partnership in Miami, their run in Cleveland wasn’t nearly as successful. Wade started for three games, before Head Coach Tyronn Lue moved him to the bench. Wade was the leading scorer for the team off the bench. He averaged 11.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 46 games he played for the Cavaliers.
The Cavs then traded Wade back to Miami at the February 8 deadline in 2018. This marked the end of LeBron and Wade’s 2nd chapter together in the NBA.
