“Let everyone say whatever sh*t they want, come playoff time, I think we’ll be ready”: Marcus Morris is taking Clippers slander personally ahead of the playoffs
Clippers’ forward Marcus Morris talks about all the noise surrounding the Clippers, says they would be ready come playoffs
The Los Angeles Clippers beat the Dallas Mavericks 109-99 tonight. After losing 135-115 to the New Orleans Pelicans last night, this win came as a welcome sight.
It was a collective team performance that led the Clippers to one-up Luka Doncic and his Mavericks. Kawhi Leonard led the way with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. Along with Kawhi, there were 6 other Clippers scoring in double digits tonight.
Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis scored 25 points and 22 points each, but could not get a favorable outcome. The Clippers dominated on the boards and were able to force turnovers to get the result they wanted.
Marcus Morris talks about all the noise surrounding the Clippers camp
The Los Angeles Clippers still haven’t heard the last of their post-season meltdown last season. They blew away a 3-1 lead to the Denver Nuggets and gave up their spot in the WCF alongside the Los Angeles Lakers.
Despite being at the 4th spot in the West this season, with a record of 26-15, the Clippers are still not treated with the respect that they would like to be treated with. In the current times, the Clippers have been very inconsistent, going 4-6 in their last 10 games.
This has been the reason a lot of the doubters, who had seemed to disappear at the start of the season, have made a resurgence. Marcus Morris does not like all the noise around the Clippers camp right now, and opens up and talks about the same. He said:
“Everybody can say what they want, can talk all the sh!t they want. Come playoff time, I think we’ll be ready.”

Hopefully, the Clippers can back-up what Morris says. Their performance last season was disappointing for all, yet there are high expectations from them yet again this season.
