“Let’s go body for body”: Terry Rozier takes shots at Kevin Durant following his monster dunk over the Nets superstar
Terry Rozier takes to Instagram to reminisce over his vicious slam over Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant.
It was quite a strange day in the NBA this past Sunday. The Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks blew out the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks respectively. The Los Angeles Clippers had their worst loss in franchise history.
To top it all off, the 0-2 Charlotte Hornets handed the 2-0 Brooklyn Nets, led by superstars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, their first loss of the season. Gordon Hayward led the way for the Hornets with 28 points.
However, a name that has risen through social media since the start of the NBA season, has been Terry Rozier. His first game back for Charlotte was against the Cavs and he casually dropped 42 points while hitting ten 3s. Now, he’s made headlines once again.
Terry Rozier reacts to his dunk over Kevin Durant
It feels as though Terry Rozier is becoming a jack of all trades. A couple of nights back, he dropped 10 shots from beyond the arc. Now, he’s dunking over 7-footers in transition.
In the Hornets win last night, the most memorable moment would have to be Rozier’s vicious slam over Kevin Durant in transition.
Rozier is seemingly still hyped about this play involving the 2x Finals MVP. He took to Instagram to commemorate this moment by posting a screenshot of the dunk over KD.
He captioned it “Let’s go body for body,” and set the location as “UPTOP”. This is of course in reference to him ‘bodying’ KD above the rim.

Are the Hornets the most fun team to watch right now?
The Charlotte Hornets will most definitely be “that league-pass team”. The team which will have a decent amount of highlights due to the exciting players they have on their team.
Whether it’s LaMelo Ball’s flashy dimes or Miles Bridges’s explosive dunks, the Hornets will be a fun team to watch. It also helps that they have perhaps the best jerseys in the league.
