"Luka Doncic is Literally Bullying!": Mavericks' 6ft 7" Superstar Has NBA Twitter in Awe After Hitting Buzzer Beater Over Rockets

The Dallas Mavericks are hosting the Houston Rockets tonight. It is the final game of their three-game homestand before they head out for a quick two-game road trip. Luka Doncic has been nothing short of magical in the last ten days. After dropping a 50-point performance against the Rockets, he came home and cooked the Lakers for 32 on Xmas Day.

On Tuesday, Luka registered a night where he shattered multiple records. He scored 60 points, grabbed 21 rebounds, dished ten assists, recorded two steals, and blocked one shot.

Tonight, he lit up the Rockets for 30 points in just three quarters. On the way to the thirty, Doncic hit a huge buzzer-beater to end the half, which had NBA Twitter spiraling.

Luka Doncic gets NBA Twitter all geared up with his buzzer-beater

The NBA executives predicted that Luka would win MVP even before the season started, and the Slovenian Sensation is living up to the hype. He’s been phenomenal on the court and has been flaunting his magic all around.

The Mavericks had possession with 1.5 seconds left in the 2nd quarter, and they inbounded the ball to Doncic. The 6ft 7″ star was barely inside the half-court line, and he made a three to beat the buzzer.

NBA Twitter saw the play and couldn’t help but react to the same.

With how Luka has played, he deserves all these praises and more.

Doncic has been matching Michael Jordan’s fifth season in NBA

Michael Jordan won his first MVP after his 4th season in the NBA. From the looks of it, Luka Doncic is about to trail him by just a year. The way the 23-year-old has been playing is simply sensational. So far, he’s been matching MJ’s stats from his 5th season.

Just to be talked about in the same sentence as Michael Jordan is a big achievement, but to actually match his stats? That’s massively insane.
