"Michael Jordan must be chuckling somewhere": Skip Bayless blasts LeBron James as the Lakers get knocked out of the playoffs after losing to Devin Booker and co

Skip Bayless takes it to Twitter and blasts LeBron James and the Lakers as they get knocked out of the playoffs after a Game 6 loss against the Suns.

Surely, the Los Angeles Lakers have had the most unexpected season this year. Behind the All-Star duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the team we’re heavily considered to be strong title contenders.

With a few more key acquisitions like Montrezl Harrell, Dennis Schroder and Marc Gasol, the Lakers were surely one of the most deadly teams in the league.

However, injures got the better of the team, sidelining their best two megastars for almost half of the season. A few role players like Dennis Schroder too missed out on games because of NBA’s health and safety protocols.

In no time did the defending champions go from title-contenders to barely making the playoffs. Clinching the 7th seed in the Western Conference, LAL played a more determined Phoenix Suns team.

Despite missing half of the season, many fans just expected Bron and AD to beat the Suns. Much to the Lakers’ surprise, after terribly losing 113-100 in Game 6, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have officially ended their 2020-2021 campaign.

“Somewhere, Michael Jordan is chuckling”: Skip Bayless takes shots at LeBron James

The way he played throughout the series, LBJ didn’t look 100% healthy. It was a relatively poor series for King James who averaged 23.3 points, 8 assists and 7.2 rebounds. Yes, losing his All-Star counterpart played a big role in their loss and was a major difference-maker for the Lakers.

Entering this year’s playoffs, many fans and analysts had believed that a fifth ring is what the 17-time All-Star required to dethrone Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan from the title of GOAT. Probably no LeBron fan must’ve expected this result. For the first time in Bron’s career that he gets knocked out of the first round of the playoffs.

For now, MJ will hold onto his GOAT title. Analyst Skip Bayless too spoke about the GOAT conversation and gave his opinions in one line:
