Months After Zion Williamson's $107,000 Debacle, Jalen Williams Details The Trials and Tribulations of Women Lurking Through Hotels For Players

Playing in the NBA warrants a high amount of prestige to the players who get drafted every year. Like every other sport, the NBA guarantees fame and a great deal of attraction and attention from women around male athletes. This attraction may even turn towards women fans wanting to pursue romantic relationships with male athletes. Though it sounds sweet from the outside, it always doesn’t turn out to be as pleasant as it may seem.

We have seen how it went down for Zion Williamson in the past months with his alleged relationship with adult film star Moriah Mills. In a recent appearance on the ‘Don’t Trip We Got You‘ podcast, Oklahoma City Thunder player Jalen Williams described the reality of how NBA stars deal with such situations off the court.

Zion Williamson was part of a recent debacle when adult film star Moriah Mills made some outright claims about the Pelicans star. Mills alleged Zion Williams to have spent $107,000 every month on her expenses. Furthermore, Mills threatened Zion with the release of his private tapes, all while he announced he was having a daughter with another woman.

Oklahoma City Thunder star Jalen Williams reveals the harsh reality surrounding NBA stars’ fame

Elaborating further, Thunders’ shooting guard Jalen Williams explained the daily attention from women that NBA stars have to deal with after crucial games. Though he never fell victim to it, understanding the consequences, Williams also described the harsh reality that follows through with fame.

Speaking from experience, Williams described how he has seen players deal with crazy scenarios when it comes to women off the court. Often they fall prey to the ulterior motives of some people, which cost them their reputation and even their minutes on the court.

The women, as Jalen narrated, would hang around the players’ hotel lobbies and would often DM them on their socials to find a chance to hang around with the NBA stars. Describing about this scenario, Williams said,

“That’s the trap…Now you got girls 2am-3am, you’re already tired, like you’re vulnerable, just played a back to back, they’ll wait for you to have a good game then they’ll be at your hotel room”

Oftentimes, the consequences can be drastic, as we have seen in Zion Williamson’s case. As Gilbert Arenas once reasoned, NBA players have a lot of free time. This can often result in a lot of temptations, which young players often can’t control. When players get swayed off their ultimate goals through these temptations, that’s what brings forth their downfall.

LBJ once ran away from a group of women while going down the opposite side of an escalator

LeBron James has always been dedicated to his wife Savannah since his high-school days. However, LeBron’s fame as a star NBA athlete warranted him much attention and attraction from several women. But being the doting partner that he is to Savannah, King James is far from getting swayed by this attention.

Last year, when a group of women surrounded LeBron James after an LA party, he was seen escaping from the scene using an escalator. And in the most classic LeBron manner, he escaped going down from the opposite side of the escalator!

Though James never fails to become a living meme from his actions, this definitely proves how the King’s total focus is on his sport and his loving family.
