Ayesha Curry has been in the headlines recently and for all the wrong reasons. The wife of Stephen Curry, Ayesha has been receiving a lot of flak after a recent video went viral. Appearing on the chat show The Real, Ayesha jokingly attempted to take off her wedding ring after a shirtless waiter walked in. But, while the rest of the internet is criticizing her actions, Steph made it clear with an Instagram comment, that Ayesha is still his wife.

Steph and Ayesha are considered by many to be a power couple in the NBA. However, despite this, they have had their fair share of controversies. Back in 2019, she appeared on the now-defunct show Red Table Talk. She was called out for suggesting she was unhappy with the lack of male attention she receives now that she is married. And now, she is facing a similar situation with the latest video.

Ayesha Curry recently posted a set of pictures on Instagram, showcasing some quality time she spent with her oldest daughter Riley. The two took a trip to Minnesota, where they had a great time. They went on some roller coasters and watched a lot of volleyball. And, as Ayesha described it, it was a “blast”.

She clearly had a lot of fun hanging out with Riley. However, the trip came at a time when the mother of three most definitely needed a break. The wife of Stephen Curry, Ayesha has been receiving a lot of criticism recently. Internet trolls have been going at her after a clip from the chat show The Real went viral.

In it, Ayesha can be seen attempting to take off her wedding ring as a shirtless waiter serves her drinks. Unsurprisingly, this did not sit well with fans, but it does not seem to bother Steph. In fact, he made it clear that Ayesha is still “his woman” with an emphatic comment on her most recent post.

Clearly, the Baby-Faced Assassin saw the humorous side of the video. And, it certainly was hilarious. After all, Ayesha was obviously exaggerating.

It just so happens that a few die-hard Stephen Curry fans have grossly taken it out of context, causing a whole lot of unnecessary havoc in the process.

Either way, it doesn’t seem to have bothered Steph or Ayesha. The two continue to be one of the NBA’s premier power couples. A little bit of hate here and there isn’t likely to change that.
