Bucks vs Grizzlies TV Schedule

Grizzlies take on the Bucks tonight in a must-win encounter for the Bears. Here we look at the match preview and TV Schedule for this monumental game.

Eastern Conference top seed Milwaukee Bucks will take on the Western Conference 9th seed Memphis Grizzlies in their final seeding game tonight. Grizzlies have had a horrible record in the bubble till now. However, if they beat the Bucks tonight, they will make it to the play-in game.

The Bucks have secured the top position in the Eastern conference. They won their previous game 126-113, against the Wizards in which Giannis was ejected due to a head butt on Moe Wagner . Here is the entire incident:

With this incident in context, the reigning MVP has been suspended for tonight’s gam. The Bucks would have anyways rested him for this meaningless game for them. The Grizzlies though would be ecstatic with that decision, as they desperately need a win tonight to make it to the play-in tournament.

Now, if 8th seed Blazers lose to the Nets later tonight, and the Grizzlies reign over the Bucks, the Grizzlies will move to 8th seed. This would mean they have to win only one game in the play-in tournament.

However, a loss for them would complicate things and they might have to leave the Bubble.

How are the teams lined up?

Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis is in a do-or-die situation. A lot rests on Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. They have to lead the pack against a strong Milwaukee Bucks team and secure a victory, or their bubble journey is over.

Grizzlies have been erratic with their offense in the Bubble and defensively too they have been searching for answers. They would need a lot to go their way tonight, because even without Giannis, the Bucks have enough resources to absolutely annihilate the Grizzlies.

But with their backs against the wall, Ja Morant could lead themselves to something special tonight

Predicted lineup: Ja Morant, De’Anthony Melton, Dillon Brooks, Kyle Anderson, Jonas Valanciunas.

Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks will use this game to give their bench some time in the court before the playoff games. Chris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe could also play lesser minutes against the Grizzlies. Giannis will not be playing the game due to his suspension.

With the Grizzlies dying for a win, the Bucks could do them a favour tonight, especially if they play their reserves all through. Bucks’ first round playoff series shouldn’t be much of a problem for them and hence they wouldn’t really be focussed on a lot of ‘momentum-building’ here.

Expect a match up between the Bucks reserves and a highly motivated Grizzlies outfit tomorrow. It could go either way.
